How to: Associate a program with an icon.
Solution:
Select the 'View' menu and select 'Options...'. Click the 'File Types' tab, select the appropriate file type, and click 'Edit...'.
1) Double-click the 'My Computer' icon. (The 'My Computer' window appears.)

2) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Options...'. (The 'Run' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'File Types' tab.
4) In the list of file types, select the file type to be changed. (The settings for that file type are shown in the 'File type details' box.)
5) Click 'Edit...'. (The 'Edit the File Type' dialog box appears.)

6) Click 'Change Icon...'. (The 'Change Icon' dialog box appears.)
7) Select the new icon from the 'Current icon' list box.
8) Click 'OK' to close the 'Change Icon' dialog box.
9) Click 'Close' to close the 'Edit File Type' dialog box.
10) Click 'Close' to close the 'Options' dialog box.
